Personal Findings

This article is going to be unstructured. It's a chaotic articulation of personal findings and introspection.

As the world descends into what seems like chaos, upholding a concrete yet dynamic mindset and philosophy is the only solution to live through the entropy with purpose. In my experience, it caused me to rethink my approach to everything. It was a really difficult journey; that is why I am taking time to write this. I want to make it easier for others to have a resilient mindset and purpose without going through the same hardships. Although some might disagree, arguing that hardship is necessary, my argument is to integrate hardship into a higher structure of improvement, not accepting it as an external input. The strategy is to use hardships as a tool, rather than surrendering to them.

The chaotic political and societal meltdown, characterized by loss of standards and morality and the spread of division, necessitates a conservative approach. When I say conservative, I do not mean it in a political sense, but rather in a more holistic sense. Being a conservative is to conserve the essence of self, time, energy, and many other things.

My radical shift in recent years was caused by the realization of a higher metaphysical structure. The current lifestyle adopted by many people, especially in the West, is the result of losing essence and self. The current left-wing/liberal/communist/socialist approach to destroy traditionalism and conservatism at its core is not a noble political movement to spread acceptance toward marginalized communities or empower the proletarians. But rather, it's a movement to erode seeking self and abandon morality. The modern trajectory has eroded the value in relationships and sex, promoting hookup culture. Most people now have the wrong addictions, which I believe is a low-level search for a God, to surrender to something higher than yourself. The current societal trajectory is moving toward devaluing time by searching for short-term dopamine hits through doomscrolling. It's not just a waste of time, but a part of a complete erosion of meaning.

The often-proposed approach was to seek the self. In my personal experience as a man, that is a suboptimal approach. A plant cannot grow from nothing; you have to have a seed and build your character on it. That seed is your God, your assumptions, and your beliefs. For many, that seed is addiction. For some, that seed is a religion. Seeking the self would often descend into narcissism. I propose a different approach, that is, serving a higher purpose. For me, the higher purpose is theosis. My model of standard is a series of rings, resembling the distance between the standard itself and human day-to-day life.

Ring 0 would be becoming godlike and understanding that there is a core to other humans, and that their beliefs and most offensive reactions are buildups from bad experiences or trauma, and that their beliefs and reactions do not define their essence. Ring 1 would be rejection of imperfection and mediocrity, and the importance of seeking purity and flawlessness. Ring 2 would be the optimization of time and energy, and that requires perfecting the physical and mental self. The methodology is to set goals to achieve Rings 0 and 1 and make sure that the physical and mental states are prepared to serve such purposes. Ring 2 is economically allocating the finite resources bounded by the physical human self, and trying to expand that finite bound by either expanding the physical capabilities or output per unit of energy spent.

The seed is a consistent, independent, complete, and minimal axiomatic system that is well-defined. The seed is the axiomatization of life and is necessary but by no means sufficient for building a life and philosophy that stands on solid ground. That was the lacking part, for me.
